This exciting opportunity as a Solution Architect will have a critical role to play getting into the detail of the technology and understanding the business, in order to provide technology leadership in addressing existing and future challenges in the dynamic setting.

Your new role

As a Solutions Architect you will enjoy taking ownership of the strategic delivery of our technology architecture strategy including designing, refining and uplifting our system architecture to meet the expectation of our customers.

Your role will provide a critical capability in helping our technology delivery teams understand how their program progress fits into our wider group view and on how we should structure our technology solutions to stay future fit,



compliant and best in market. Key focus areas include:

· Designing solutions, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and architecture standards/processes.

· Analysing business requirements and determining appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.

· Resolving routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architectures; assessing potential risks and determining solutions to these risks.

What you'll need to succeed

This position would suit an applicant who has demonstrated Solutions design experience, excellent communication and time management skills, a can-do attitude and experience establishing strong working relationships are essential.

· Strong knowledge of Web technologies and architectural patterns - App technologies and architectural patterns, Content and digital asset management technologies, API design, identity and AWS exposure.

· Deep platform/product knowledge on many technologies, holding an expert grasp in the typical benefits and trade-offs in their applicability to large organisations.





· Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders across the business and technology groups to discern the key needs, gaps, opportunities and obligations the group has with specific technology platforms, trends, capabilities and platforms

· Skilled stakeholder engagement, able to deftly move between senior executive sponsors and deep technology experts.

· Keen analytical skills; you will be able to demonstrate an insight into understanding problems both through a history of performing this function and by being able to give insights on industry platforms

· Collaborating with other team members, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture to ensure solutions align with Reference Architectures and cross cutting technology and security standards and policies.

· In the project team you will work with product owners, engineers and 3rd parties to socialise the designs and resolve technical conflicts.

· Working at project level with awareness of Domain roadmaps.
