The Department

The Alfred Health Speech Pathology Department is a co-ordinated service across all of Alfred Health which includes The Alfred Hospital; Caulfield Hospital; and Sandringham Hospital.

This position is based in the Aquired Brain Injury Service at Caulfield Hospital.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Alfred Health Speech Pathology team.

THE ABI SERVICE

The Alfred Health Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Centre provides a statewide rehabilitation service for people with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, hypoxic brain injuries and other causes of non-progressive brain injury. It provides assessment, rehabilitation and care planning for patients with complex needs following an ABI. The service is comprised of a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation service, a community rehabilitation service and a 4-bed transitional living service.
