We are looking for several experienced and driven surveyors across our Melbourne based projects.
Our projects across Melbourne involve multiple disciplines including earthworks, and structures, you will be working with a wide range of clients and disciplines you can learn and develop professionally further with Seymour Whyte.
About the role:
- Implement, monitor, and upgrade contract survey instructions.
- Undertake survey required to control location and quality of engineering developments throughout a project.
- Gather and process field data for designers, engineers, and Quality team members.
- Prepare and undertake surveys as required to meet contractual and quality assurance obligations.
- Prepare calculations for quantities and submit to Project Manager/Engineers as requested.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Hold a minimum of a diploma in Engineering Surveying or recognised equivalent formal qualification from a recognised institution.
- Demonstrated practical experience in surveying, with emphasis on experience in the civil construction industry.
- Competency across a variety of computing programs and software platforms as required for the role Ability to create and maintain data systems including for design changes, 'as built' records and calibration records.
