A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Communications Support Officer to play an important role in delivering effective communication activities for the department! You will work closely with project managers, key stakeholders and the Digital Science Engagement team, fostering solid relationships that promote awareness of project activities, further building our reputation. The successful Communications Officer will be offered a 12 month contract plus 12 month extension options and flexible working arrangements!

The successful Communications Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Produce compelling multi-channel communication initiatives, promoting key project and organisational messages.
- Contribute to the creation of a suite of communication artefacts, including templates, branding and messaging guides and standards
- Work closely with projects,



helping to translate complex information into clear and simple concepts that meet stakeholder information needs
- Assist projects with the development of communication plans as required

The successful Communications Support Officer will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience as a communications officer or organisational change manager
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with excellent stakeholder engagement
- Ability to develop innovative and interesting ideas for effective communication
