We’re on the hunt for a Senior eCommerce Specialist to support to Head of eCommerce in the day-to-day management of the team as well as the implementation of some career-defining new projects.
The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing commercial and brand interests across a breadth of digital channels and strategies. Experience in, and enthusiasm for, a variety of digital disciplines including CRO, CRM, digital marketing and visual merchandising will be highly regarded. Working across both of our brands, you’re both proactive and reactive, able to understand the fast pace and dynamic energy of a retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of two offshore eCommerce specialists to ensure that key day to day aspects of managing and online business are executed in a timely and correct manner, including:
- Returns
- Product uploads
- Product QCs
- Operational projects
- Marketplace management
Manage onsite visual merchandising in line with brand standards, overlaid with commercial acumen
Define the QC process and ensure this is completed weekly to minimise any errors onsite
- Manage the creation and maintenance of online training and procedural manuals
- Act as the first point of contact for escalating customer issues with online channels
- Work alongside the Head of eCommerce on key projects in the pipeline, including re-platforming, loyalty strategy and SEO
- Be a key player in managing the relationship with multiple third party agencies, including SEO, performance media and more
- Be able to understand the relationship between key metrics and overall results to clearly isolate issues and opportunities within the digital space
- Critically analyse all digital comms and content to ensure it supports digital KPIs and is fit for channel, represents the brand and speaks to the customer
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting to the business, alongside action items
- Represent the team in meetings and discussions in the absence of the Head of eCommerce
- Present back reporting, projects and new opportunities to a range of internal stakeholders, including our CEO, with confidence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce or digital roles, preferably within the fashion retail industry
- Is willing to get their hands dirty and able to pivot easily between administrative tasks and contributing to strategy meetings
- Takes pride in strong attention to detail and being a brand guardian
- Champions the customer at every turn, ensuring that digital channels speak to our audience
- Ideally has Shopify and/or Emarsys experience (or is willing to learn new systems)
- Is able to demonstrate a willingness to work cross-departmentally and at pace to achieve business goals
