The Role
Based in Mandurah, WA. We are seeking a part time (3-4 Days a week) Accounts and Payroll Officer with a positive attitude and friendly demeaner to join our team.
The position will be responsible for processing and delivering high quality payroll and accounts services, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of Accounts Payables
- Ensures all invoices are authorised appropriately and general ledger coded
- Responsible for matching of invoices to purchase orders
- Ensures Supplier invoices are accurately entered and processed on time
- Processes and matches visa statements and supporting documentation
- Prepare & Send to Finance Manager weekly creditor payments schedule
- Ensure all Accounts Payable queries are addressed in a timely manner
- Apply creditor Payments and send remittance to suppliers
- Assist with Accounts Receivable in conjunction with Payroll / Finance Team
- General Administration Duties as required
Payroll Duties:
- When required, process weekly payroll pay run (70-100)
- Accurate data entry of Site timesheets into Astute Payroll
- New starter onboarding and assist new candidates where necessary
- Produce weekly Civeo hours report for Recruiter
- Recruitment Commission weekly reporting
Essential requirements
- Minimum 2 years plus MYOB experience
- Solid attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ideal attributes, skills, and experience:
- A reliable and honest person
- 3+ years of experience in a payroll and accounts role
- Qualification in Bookkeeping or Finance is preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel
- Proficient in using payroll software such as Astute is advantageous
