About the role

As the Area Manager at CMBM Facility Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of cleaning and facility services across multiple sites within the Gladstone, QLD region. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a key part in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

- Provide leadership and direction to a team of cleaners and support staff
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet client requirements
- Monitor and inspect cleaning activities to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Manage equipment, consumables and other resources to support efficient service delivery
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Identify and action continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner in line with OH&S; requirements
- Assist with recruitment, training and development of the team
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated experience in a similar area management role within the cleaning/facilities services industry
- Strong people management and leadership skills




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Sound understanding of cleaning methodologies, equipment and consumables
- Working knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Ability to problem solve and implement continuous improvements
- Proficient in the use of relevant technology and data management systems
