Our client, a reputable organization in Perth's southern suburbs, is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant for a 1–2 month temporary contract. This is an excellent prospect to enhance your skills and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial data.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Provide support for audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Undertake ad-hoc accounting projects and administrative tasks as needed.

About You:





- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Currently working towards CA/CPA qualification.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
