Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Rig Manager, the ARM shall be responsible for the management of the asset in accordance with Transocean policies and procedures. The ARM will serve as back up to the Rig Manager in terms of managing day to day rig operations and managing the customer relationship. Coordinate and collaborate with the Rig Manager in establishing shared rig goals which support the Transocean vision and mission.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- HSE- Participate in Start, SV/DV process, Risk Assessments & AAR’s, HSE incident investigation and analysis for the continuous improvement of HSE performance.
- Operations Management - Monitor rig activities on a daily basis and ensure quality data and records are entered in RMS.



Ensure that the rig is maintained in accordance with maintenance policies and requirements.
- Financial Management - Prepare the annual rig budget and quarterly forecasts in coordination with the rig manager.

Education:

- Minimum Required: ​​Bachelor’s Degree in drilling or petroleum, or engineering degree in other discipline, or High school diploma or equivalent, with Operations-focused industry experience in lieu of degree.​

Experience:

- ​​5+ years’ experience in the offshore drilling industry with a focus in Operations.​

Skills:

- A level of computer literacy to facilitate the use of company provided proprietary software as well as several “off the shelf” programs utilized in routine company business.
- Ability to forecast, plan, strategize, and direct operational issues as .​
