Associate Principal - Architecture (AVD / Windows 365 Solution Architect) Opportunity Your new company

Your new role

- Lead design and architecture of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PC solutions
- Design scalable, secure virtual desktop environments aligned to business needs
- Manage Cloud PC provisioning, image lifecycle, and automation using Intune and PowerShell
- Provide technical leadership across Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft AVD platforms
- Drive end-to-end solution delivery across design, build, test, and implementation phases
- Gather requirements, run workshops, and create high-level design documentation
- Implement security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, Defender integration)
- Monitor performance, capacity, and optimize virtual environments
- Troubleshoot provisioning, login, connectivity, and performance issues
- Support stakeholders and project managers through delivery lifecycle
- Drive automation using scripting (PowerShell)

What you'll need to succeed

- 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in VDI/EUC environments
- Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix, and VMware
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint management
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale virtualization solutions
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Experience leading technical teams and managing stakeholders
- Ability to create solution designs, architecture documents, and run workshops
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (AZ-104, MD-102, AVD, Citrix, VMware) are desirable
