About Us:
Macksville Preschool Childcare Centre is a warm and welcoming childcare centre committed to providing high quality early childhood education and care to the families of our regional community. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for centre staff in compliance with applicable awards and regulations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Budget Support: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, providing financial reports to the management team.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with taxation requirements, including BAS, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software (Xero, MYOB).
- Communication: Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a childcare or small business setting.
- Essential experience in using Hubworks CCMS program.




- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll, and superannuation requirements (including Child Care Subsidy)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
