Guzman Y Gomez Fountain Plaza + Umina is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis. Based in Erina NSW 2250, this pivotal role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting operations.
What you'll be doing
- Performing daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
- Preparing and submitting tax documents and compliance filings
- Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing more efficient systems
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within the accounting/small practice industry
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, software, and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
