We are seeking for Diesel
Mechanic experience preferred; Light Vehicle Mechanics encouraged to apply. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in
maintaining our modern bus fleet, ensuring a high standard of safety and reliability
for our passengers. Collaborate with a
supportive team to meet deadlines.
- Timely Repairs: Ensure buses are road -ready with minor
repairs to keep drivers on schedule.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Follow a kilometre -based
service schedule, including major services and inspections.
- Fleet Inspections: Conduct bi -annual inspections for RMS
compliance and address any urgent repairs.
- Be self -motivated, well presented and have the abilities to prioritise
tasks and time to suit current requirements
- Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to read construction drawings
- Be
able to communicate with team members, management and clients if required
- Strong leadership
and the ability to mentor and guide a team of tradespeople.
- A friendly,
approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge and ability to follow work health
& safety procedures and policies
Requirements
- Basic computer skills and a
proactive, team -focused attitude.
- A robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- The ability to pass a pre -employment medical and National Police Clearance.
- Sponsorship opportunities are available for the right candidate.International
candidates - Demonstrated English language proficiency, which usually
involves passing an IELTS or equivalent test.
- A minimum MR
driver’s license (or higher), to work proactively in an
autonomous environment
