A large Insurance organisation is looking for a technical Business Analyst to support a platform-focused team delivering enhancements to a core system. This role suits someone who can work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and operate confidently in a low-touch environment.
Your new role
- Work on a platform team delivering system enhancements
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Support document and data ingestion flows
- Work across correspondence systems and APIs
- Partner with engineers and architects to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in technology/digital environments
- Solid technical BA capability
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Ability to analyse data flows and support data quality improvements
- Comfortable working autonomously
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Exposure to OCR or document ingestion platforms
- Cloud-native or distributed systems experience
- Insurance or financial services background
What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering $900 + super (day rate). The role is based in Brisbane but open to candidates who are Sydney-based.
