We are looking for a Business Improvement Team Leader to oversee the administrative team, driving business and process improvements. This hands-on role combines leadership, operations management, and process optimisation to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality service delivery, working closely with the COO to implement strategic initiatives.
THE ROLE
As Business Improvement Team Leader, you will play a key role in the business, using your expertise to drive key initiatives, lead process improvements, and manage projects, while being highly curious, result-driven, and leveraging your strong capabilities in data management and technology integration.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in administrative leadership or operations management, preferably in professional services or accounting
- Experience in process improvements, change management, and project management
- Vendor management and IT/software implementation experience
- Strong background in business analytics, process mapping, and business systems
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive results and manage multiple projects
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software (APS desirable)
- Accountable, solutions-oriented,
and highly organised with effective planning and task management
- Solid alignment with client values, purpose, and culture
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and inspire the administrative team, ensuring alignment with firm goals and individual targets
- Conduct performance evaluations, support career development, and drive continuous improvement
- Analyse and improve business processes, driving efficiency and system cohesion
- Collaborate with the COO to implement process changes and adoption of new software that align with strategic goals
- Use process mapping tools and develop SOPs to streamline workflows
- Oversee daily operations, including project management, resource allocation, and office maintenance.
- Ensure effective data management, security, and privacy across all systems.
- Manage technology partnerships and vendors, ensuring seamless service delivery and quick issue resolution
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, clients, and external service providers
- Ensure a 24-hour turnaround for all internal and external communications
- Stay up to date with industry trends and digital tools to drive innovation in administrative functions
- Foster a culture of continuous learning to ensure the team adapts to changing business needs
