With over 130 years in the sugar industry, Bundaberg Sugar is a key player in Australia’s sugar market. As well as being one of Australia's largest cane growers, we operate a Sugar Mill, Refinery, and Packaging Plant in East Bundy.

Our cane farms are the highest-yielding in the district, helping us maintain a solid position locally as well as in the industry.

About the Role

We are looking for Cane Field Operators to support our farming operations in Bundaberg. If you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team, apply now.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with farm activities such as weed control, irrigation, spraying, and slashing

- Safely operate machinery and farm equipment

- Apply chemicals and fertilisers following guidelines

What We Are Looking For:

- Experience with tractors and irrigation is a plus





- Ability to work outdoors and tackle physically demanding tasks

- A certificate in chemical application (or willingness to obtain)

- A current Australian manual driver’s licence

What We Offer:

- Competitive hourly rate: $28.64, or $35.80 as a casual

- Four weeks annual leave plus 25% leave loading

- Additional week of leave each year

- Thirteen weeks long service leave

- Rostered days off
