About the service:
This established service is ready for a agile and experienced Centre Manager to take the lead. The centre is partly rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard and has the people, place and potential to go even further under the right leadership.
This is not a 'fill the role and keep it going position - It is a chance to take ownership of a well-resourced service and build a team culture where educators thrive and families feel a true sense of belonging.
About the role:
You will lead the day-to-day operations of the service, focusing on continuous improvement, compliance with the National Quality Framework, and embedding high-quality pedagogy. You will be responsible for inspiring your team, engaging families,
ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the service towards achieving an Exceeding rating across all seven Quality Areas.
What we are looking for:
- A Diploma or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Minimum two years of Centre Manager (or higher) experience in a long day care setting
- Deep, practical understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and principles of quality assessment and rating
- A commitment to leading with empathy, accountability, and a growth mindset
- Confidence to support and mentor a team and drive a culture of continuous improvement '
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
- A track record of creating strong partnerships with families and local communities
