Build a meaningful connection over your shared love of the game while enjoying friendly matches, strategy, and valuable company by simply showing up and playing a game, you’ll be helping to reduce social isolation and bring fun, joy, and connection—one move at a time.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and NDIS Worker Screening Check paid for by HammondCare •
