We’re on the lookout for a professional and skilled cleaner and kitchen hand to join our wonderful Palm Lake team in sunny Hervey Bay! This is a full time position where you can bring your talents and make a great impact. Come be a part of our community!

Palm Lake Resort, Hervey Bay is seeking a Full Time Cleaner / Kitchen hand to maintain the outstanding presentation of our resorts facilities. This position is 38hours per week on a Monday to Friday roster (no weekends) where you will be assisting across the kitchen meal service times and cleaning shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with meal service & food prep along with day-to- day general cleaning ensuring the facilities are maintained. Duties include but not limited to; dining halls, gymnasium and bathrooms, perform regular dusting, rubbish removal, vacuuming and moping of all common areas.

In addition, you will undertake a regular cleaning/maintenance program for fans, skirting boards, windows etc, as directed by the caretaker managers.

Ideally you will have:-

- Relevant experience in kitchen-hand duties;
- Commercial cleaning experience, including demonstrated use of cleaning chemicals and detergents;
- Good time management and attention to detail;
- Pride in the appearance and presentation of the resort;
- Patience and tolerance towards elderly residents;




- A current “C” Class drivers licence is essential;
- Current Food handling certificate is essential;
- A positive attitude!
