Clinical Haematologist - full time wanted for a specialist cancer centre on the Sunshine Coast.
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled FRACP-qualified Clinical Haematologist to join a rapidly expanding private cancer centre on the Sunshine Coast, Queenslandâjust a short drive from Brisbane. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, patient-focused team in a vibrant and desirable location. With 80% private billing, competitive remuneration (OTE $500,000â$1,000,000 annually), and the flexibility to focus on your area of clinical interest, youâll be able to make a meaningful impact from day one. The centre provides an established patient base, strong team support, and mentorship opportunities, including pathways for fourth-year haematology trainees. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care to patients with haematological malignancies and non-malignant blood disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluation, monitoring,
and follow-up of complex haematological cases.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and service delivery.
- Support training and mentorship of junior medical staff and haematology trainees.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and research initiatives as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Full AHPRA Specialist registration or eligibility.
- FRACP qualification in Clinical Haematology (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in clinical haematology, preferably in a tertiary or specialist cancer centre setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to relocate or adapt to flexible scheduling; restraints of trade will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
