Youâll be serving coffees (using a simple pod machine), offering light refreshments, and bringing a joyful, welcoming vibe to residents who are frail aged or living with dementia. A warm hello, a shared laugh, or a gentle conversation can mean so much.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

18 years or older ⢠NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
The commitment is one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday).
