Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate community access programs, services, activities and experiences
- Proactively network, attend and organise events to grow the program
- Lead and manage the Community Access team, providing guidance and support to staff
- Collaborate with clients, families, and external stakeholders to assess needs and identify opportunities for community participation
- Ensure programs are person-centered and tailored to meet the unique goals of each participant
- Track program engagement data while adhering to policies and procedures
- Proven experience with CAS disability support
- Certification in Community Services, Disability Support, or a related field (Desired)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies that promote community engagement and inclusion
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework and community resources available to individuals with disabilities
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends may be required
