Are you someone who enjoys a positive chat? How about a coffee and cake? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady who’s feeling a bit lonely. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.

We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of clients who are living at home.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Working with Vulnerable people check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
