Origin Group is seeking a crew of highly skilled professionals for exciting construction project work commencing January 2025 at various sugar mills in the Mackay region. With projects running for 4–6 months, this is your opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction work with potential to secure permanent employment within our growing company.

About the Projects

Our projects include:

- Replacement of large vessels and piping systems, requiring advanced rigging techniques for demolition and installation.
- Structural upgrades.
- Mechanical overhauls and installations.
- And much more!

These challenging and diverse tasks offer opportunities to showcase your expertise and develop new skills within a supportive team setting.

About You

We are looking for qualified Fitters, Boilermakers, and Riggers who demonstrate:

- Proficiency in your trade.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience with similar construction projects (highly regarded).
- High-risk tickets or certificates (highly regarded).

Additional Requirements:

- Fitters:



Must pass a basic mechanical aptitude test.
- Boilermakers: Must pass a weld test.
- Riggers: Must pass a basic rigging aptitude test.
