ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced CT Modality Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of our CT services for our busy Bunbury SWHC. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining clinical expertise with team leadership, quality oversight, and service development.
You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflow management, and the safe, effective use of CT equipment, while supporting the ongoing growth and optimisation of CT services across the business.
Responsibilities Include
- Leading and coordinating CT operations across sites, ensuring high-quality imaging, workflow efficiency, and service delivery
- Supervising and supporting the CT team, including rostering, recruitment, performance reviews, and ongoing development
- Maintaining clinical excellence by ensuring correct scanning techniques, quality control procedures, and accurate documentation
- Acting as a key point of contact for operational issues, including after-hours support and equipment troubleshooting
- Collaborating with Radiologists, technical teams, and stakeholders to support service delivery and continuous improvement
- Driving quality initiatives, audits, and compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Supporting the growth of CT services, including input into new site planning, equipment selection, and technology advancements
About You
To excel in this role,
you will have:
- Degree qualified in Medical Imaging with strong CT experience (minimum 5 years in modality)
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, support, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong clinical knowledge with a commitment to quality, safety, and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident working across RIS/PACS systems and Microsoft Office programs
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and service development
