The Database
Administrator / Data Analyst provides routine database administration and
data management support for the client's maintenance analysis and reporting
tools. Key accountabilities include maintaining database availability,
performing routine backups, and monitoring data integration success between
source systems and the data lake environment.

Key
Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain
system databases for legacy and modern environments
(SQL 2014 and 2019).

· Monitor data integration
success and remediate failures between source systems using SQL
transactional replication.

· Maintain data structure
and quality within the application suite, ensuring data is ready for future
migration.

· Execute scripts and application
data exports to support third-party and national
compliance audits approximately twice per year.





· Assist in data quality
profiling and remediation work as directed by the Lead DBA or government
stakeholders.

Required
Skills and Expertise

· Experience in Microsoft
SQL Server administration (2014/2019) including SSIS and SSRS.

· Proficiency in SQL
scripting for data analysis and reporting.

· Understanding of Incident
and Problem Management within a secure, multi-vendor setting.

Mandatory
Requirements

· Active AGSVA NV1
Clearance (Required for privileged access to production databases).

· Must
be able to work full-time in Melbourne
(Laverton) or in Ballarat or in Canberra
