CareChoice are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who are interested in joining our team in Warrnambool.
We are looking for people willing to provide quality services and safeguards to our clients with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.
A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with CareChoice, may see you supporting our Participant with:
- Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.
- 24-hour complex supports
- Supported Independent living
- Community access and transport
- Domestic and Personal care
The clients we are currently recruiting for require 24/7 supports. This means there are morning, afternoon and night shifts available, with penalties applied, where applicable.
About you
As a passionate, reliable,
and experienced Disability Support Worker, you’ll have experience with providing quality care services, implementing behavioural strategy supports and building rapport with Participants.
You will need to come with:
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Certificate IV in Disability or similar
- Minimum 12 months experience working with clients that have complex care requirements
- Valid Driver’s Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
Employment with CareChoice is subject to satisfactory background checks which include Qualified References, Employee Working with Children Check, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
