About the role

To help cement Australia’s strong position as a business events destination we’re looking for a dynamic and friendly individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time role as Distribution Development & Partnership Executive, Business Events to help represent and market one of the most beautiful countries in the world… Australia!

This position provides operational support and coordination to ensure the successful delivery of business events distribution development & partnership marketing initiatives.

A key focus of this role will be providing support to the business events industry with initiatives including the Advance Program and the Business Events Bid Fund Program, designed to increase the conversion of new international business events for Australia.

This is a great role for someone who is organised, enthusiastic, and excited to build their career from the inside of one of Australia’s most recognised and ambitious brands, while also playing a part in driving real results for the business events industry.

To succeed in this role,



your profile will demonstrate the following skills:

- Demonstrated prior experience in business administration and project coordination, supported by tertiary qualifications in tourism, events, marketing or related discipline.

- Demonstrated prior experience in planning, producing and delivering business events marketing materials and supporting distribution activity.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive and skilled approach.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, listen well, and contribute to open, respectful dialogue.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities independently.

- Attention to detail and accountability for delivering high-quality work and following through on commitments.

- A natural service mindset—someone who takes pride in being helpful, solving problems, with an ability to work autonomously retaining a sense of ownership of responsibilities.
