Anglicare Sydney is undertaking a significant transformation, and our newly created Resource Manager – EPMO role is at the heart of how we deliver projects that support real change in our communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a best-practice resource management function within our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). You’ll work across all our hub teams to ensure our project portfolio is sustainably staffed, capacity is well managed, and resourcing decisions are grounded in data and aligned with business priorities.

You’ll be building the foundations, driving improvement, and making a measurable impact from day one.

This is an 18 month fixed term hire role.

About the Role

- Lead resourcing processes and standards across all portfolios, ensuring the right people are matched to the right projects at the right time in a consistent and transparent way.

- Partner with senior leaders, project sponsors, and delivery teams to assess resourcing needs and resolve conflicts

- Manage and optimise our resource planning tool (RUNN), driving forecasting, visibility, and governance

- Monitor capacity versus demand, identify bottlenecks and gaps, and guide prioritisation conversations at the leadership level

- Develop and embed effective processes and standards, creating consistency and transparency across the organisation

- Provide strategic insights through reports and dashboards to inform decision-making

- Maintain oversight of workforce skills and help identify future capability needs

- This is a hands-on, strategic, and people-focused role that will influence how we deliver projects across Anglicare.

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years of experience in resource or workforce management in a project-based or matrixed environment

- Strong understanding of project lifecycles and delivery frameworks

- Advanced capability in resource management tools such as RUNN, MS Project, Planview, or similar

- Highly analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach

- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills

- Ability to balance multiple priorities, resolve resourcing conflicts, and influence outcomes

- Process-focused with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement

- Experience within an enterprise PMO or consulting setting will be highly regarded.
