The job We're hiring 3 operators for a large-scale land clearing and fire management project in Gippsland. Approximately 3–3.5 months. Full-time, 50-hour weeks, Monday to Friday. Meals and accommodation provided.

Roles available

- Excavator Operator x 2 — harvester head, grabs, saw head and mulcher attachments

- Lambtrak / Dedicated Forestry Mulcher Operator x 1

What you'll be doing

- Running excavators or a Lambtrak dedicated forestry mulcher on a vegetation and land clearing project

- Tree removal, mulching and land clearing using various attachments

- Working on vegetation, land clearing and fire management works

- Loading and unloading gear and helping the crew keep machines in valuable nick

Must have Please only apply if you have:

- 3+ years operating excavators or dedicated forestry mulchers

- Tree work or land clearing experience (not just civils)

- Experience with harvester heads, 360 rotating grab and saw attachments





- Posi track or dedicated forestry mulcher experience

- Experience working in medium to high density bush

- Able to pass on-site VOC

Nice to have (we can train the right person on some of this)

- Chainsaw skills (tickets a bonus)

- Vegetation ID, tree or fire management experience

- Arborist background

- HC truck licence
