The Financial Adviser is responsible for providing tailored personal advice solutions to clients on a limited range of financial issues to achieve better superannuation outcomes. This advice focusses on superannuation products, including Defined Benefit accounts relevant to a skill set, super optimisation, contributions, personal insurance and other strategies as deemed appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships to build trust with existing and prospective members to meet their needs efficiently and professionally.
- Provide quality personal advice on superannuation products and services.
- Ensure advice recommendations are technically correct, compliant, and tailored to the client's personal needs and objectives.
- Provide advice on a range of financial matters, including investment strategies, superannuation, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
- Recommend financial products such as investments, insurance, superannuation funds,
and other financial services.
- Refer members to our National Advice Panel where a member's needs are outside the scope of advice and the member is specifically seeking this advice.
Required Experience
- Financial Planning/Business/Finance/Commerce or a related bachelor's degree or higher.
- Driven to achieve outstanding client outcomes.
- Completion of the Financial Adviser Exam.
- Meet the requirements to provide tax (financial) advice.
- Be listed on the ASIC Financial Advisers Register.
- Extensive experience in providing financial planning advice in a face-to-face setting.
- Experience presenting financial situations and scenarios simply and convincingly across multiple channels and to individuals or large audiences.
- Robust operational and advisory knowledge of complex Defined Benefit accounts.
