Job title u2013 Financial Controller, FCu0026A (18 months contract)nnLocation u2013 Balgowlah, SydneynnThe Financial Controller, FCu0026A is responsible for overseeing and executing finance actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting unit(s) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of the financial statements.nnThis role is responsible for handling the full sets of accounts and actively overseeing the financial closing process.nnThe Financial Controller, FCu0026A will work closely with all finance functions, tax, treasury, shared services, and business units, ensuring a true and fair view of the financial statements aligned with the business needs.nnYour key responsibilitiesnn * Support continuous finance transformation, standardization, and process optimization for the assigned reporting unit in alignment with sub-regional leadn * Oversee and execute finance actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting unit(s) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of financial statementsn * Perform thorough sanity checks of the Profit and Loss (Pu0026L) statement and coordinate variances analysis against actuals, including comparisons to prior periodsn * Ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich Accounting Rules, international, and local statutory accounting standards to maintain integrity of financial statements and management reportsn * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting, controls, and system efficiencies within the assigned reporting unit(s)n * Interact with external and internal stakeholders like auditors, government bodies, regional FCu0026A teams.
