The successful applicant will need to have a current driver’s license, prior industry experience and the ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of various types of systems & equipment i.e., fire detection,



fire doors, fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, Exit and Emergency Lighting.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

- Preventative maintenance testing & servicing of fire systems and equipment to AS1851
- Fault finding, diagnosis and undertaking corrective action of fire systems
- Defect repairs, installation, and modification of fire systems & equipment
- Being part of a paid rotating on-call roster.
- Supporting other teams and staff

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- ACT or NSW Driver's license
- Asbestos Awareness & Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Police and WWVP Check, or the ability to obtain
- NV1 Clearance, although not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write technical reports
- Good customer service focus and flexible attitude
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
