FMI Building Innovation is a leading manufacturer of high-performance glass products supplying the window industry across Australasia.

Our Smithfield facility is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Glass Processors to join our production team.

About the Role

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for processing glass to specification across our production lines.

Key responsibilities:

- Glass cutting, handling, and processing

- Operating production machinery (cutting lines, furnace, IGU line)

- Bulk glass handling and loading/unloading

- Quality checks and defect identification

- Preparing finished goods for dispatch

- Maintaining strict safety and quality standards

About You





- Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment

- Comfortable working with machinery and production processes

- Physically fit (manual handling required)

- Strong attention to detail

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Desirable:

- Glass or aluminium industry experience

- Forklift licence

- Experience with lifting equipment
