Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Accounting: Recent graduates or final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- Software Knowledge: Exposure to Xero and Microsoft applications is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Professional Development:
An interest in pursuing membership with a professional accounting organization (CA / CPA reimbursement scheme with study leave entitlements to support).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bookkeeping and Payroll Services: Assist with managing and reconciling client Xero/MYOB files and completing payroll for clients.
- BASs, Financial Statements & Income Tax Preparation: Work alongside senior accountants to prepare income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
- Client Interaction: Learn how to engage with clients to understand and support their accounting and business needs.
