Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs.nnMinimum Qualifications:nnu2022 Bacheloru0027s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. nOR nMasteru0027s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. nOR nPhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnu2022 Masteru0027s degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. nu2022 4+ years in a technical leadership role with direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports). nu2022 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Director and above).nnu2022 2+ years of relevant GPU experience. nnPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:nnu2022 Leverages expert GPU knowledge and experience to architect, design, implement, verify, and/or optimize the performance and power of GPU cores.nnu2022 Builds functional model simulations,



develops software, and tests for various graphics to verify correctness and ensures highly advanced performance and power goals are met.nnu2022 Guides team to design, program, and run highly complex, comprehensive graphics tests across the system to verify functionality, performance, power, and identify areas for improvement.nnu2022 Facilitates collaboration with third-party vendors, external users, and high-level representatives from other functions to drive implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals.nnu2022 Develops highly critical driver and compiler software to support the GPU products.nnu2022 Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for highly complex GPU projects to guide users and/or customers to implement output; reviews technical documentation for experienced engineers.nnLevel of Responsibility: nu2022 Provides supervision to direct reports. nu2022 Decision-making is critical in nature and highly impacts program, product, or project success. nu2022 Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey highly complex and/or detailed information. May require robust negotiation and influence with large groups or high-level constituents. nu2022 Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. nu2022 Has a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions. nu2022 Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving,
