Are you an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) professional looking to play a key role in strengthening enterprise cybersecurity capability? We're partnering with a leading organisation in Perth to identify a skilled specialist to drive security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
Your new role
This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity strategy and operational risk, focused on uplifting governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and embedding robust security controls across the organisation.
- Support and enhance cybersecurity governance frameworks and operating models
- Lead risk assessments, control assurance, and compliance reporting activities
- Develop and uplift security policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation
- Define and implement governance policies aligned to organisational risk appetite
- Ensure alignment with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- Drive stakeholder engagement across technical and business functions
- Support internal/external audits, remediation tracking,



and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in cybersecurity GRC, risk management, or compliance
- Deep understanding of NIST frameworks and control environments
- Proven expertise in policy development, control design, and documentation
- Experience conducting risk assessments, gap analysis, and control validation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance in complex environments
