Role Overview
As the People & Culture Manager / Head of People & Culture, you will play a key role on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle for a workforce of approximately 65 local employees and an additional 65 international team members engaged via a partner organisation. The role is supported by HR administration and is responsible for driving initiatives across talent acquisition, development, employee experience, and organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that drives business performance and employee engagement.
- Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and organisational design to attract and retain high-calibre talent.
- Manage reward and recognition programs, onboarding, employee experience, and performance management to promote a high-performing culture.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering guidance on all aspects of people management and workforce development.
- Ensure compliance with industrial relations, employee relations, work health & safety, privacy, and other relevant regulations and policies.
- Lead change initiatives including policy development, organisational restructuring, hybrid/multi-timezone working models, and capability-building programs.
What Youll Need to Succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a senior HR generalist, ideally within a small to medium-sized enterprise.
- Strong understanding of modern awards and employment legislation, with a track record in resolving ER/IR matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven with strong multitasking abilities.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with the initiative to independently source answers and best practices.
- Capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
- A strong commercial mindset, contributing to business discussions and leadership decisions.
