The Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Manager from a mid-tier accounting firm to take our business and Services Team to the next level. You will be joining a team of professionals with a proven track record of delivering professional services at scale to SMEs across Australia and New Zealand.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring clients receive world-class customer service in line with Retinue’s goals and objectives.
- Quality, standard of work, and timeliness of work, including regulatory compliance, in line with the standards of Retinue.
- Meeting SLAs and QA targets.
- Responsible for capacity planning, forecasting, reporting and overall budget of the Accounting and tax areas.
- Build, lead, and manage teams in line with forecast, including hiring, training, mentoring,
and evaluating staff members ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
- - You will be a forward thinking, inspiring people leader driven by integrity, conscientiousness and peak performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar management type role.
- CPA/CA or other suitable qualification.
- High level of commercial and business acumen with deep Accounting and tax knowledge
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to measure and evaluate training effectiveness and impact.
- Able to communicate financial information to a broad audience and be able to make the complex simple. Highly organised; ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Driven and proactive, with a high level of initiative.
- Effective team player, with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
