HR Manager role - Professional Services (Parramatta)

Are you an experienced HR generalist ready to step into a standalone, newly created role where you can truly make your mark?

We're partnering with a growing professional services and advisory firm to recruit a full-time, permanent HR Manager to lead and shape the people function as the business continues to scale.

This is a unique opportunity to build HR from the ground up, partnering closely with founders and senior leaders in a high-performing, relationship-driven environment.

The Role

As the primary point of contact for all HR matters, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle and play a key role in shaping people strategy and culture, including:

- Managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, development, engagement, offboarding)
- Delivering a structured onboarding experience aligned to company values
- Advising leaders on employee relations, performance, and people matters
- Partnering with founders on workforce planning and business decisions
- Implementing and managing performance review frameworks
- Leading salary reviews and benchmarking processes
- Coaching leaders on feedback, development, and performance conversations
- Maintaining HR policies, procedures, and compliance with Australian employment legislation
- Supporting offshore workforce considerations in partnership with external providers
- Driving employee engagement initiatives, events, and cultural programs
- Identifying improvements across people operations and supporting future HRIS implementation

About You

You're someone who:

- Brings strong HR generalist experience across the full employee lifecycle in a corporate environment




- Has experience partnering with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships
- Is confident, personable, and naturally engages with stakeholders across all levels
- Is proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a standalone capacity
- Enjoys working in a growing business where processes are evolving
- Brings a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to HR
