What you’ll do:
- Facilitate recruitment and selection activities for support workers (processing applications, phone screening, assessment and interviewing)
- Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries in accordance with DCR policy and procedures and consult with management as required
- Compliance and engagement management of the workforce
- Work with managers to assess and address training and development needs, build capacity,
support staff retention and drive a high-performance culture
- Reporting key workforce metrics to leadership
What we’re looking for:
- Working towards or completed tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a similar field highly desirable
- Two (2) years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and personal presentation skills, particularly in relation to positively managing the interface between a commercial enterprise and government organisation.
- Experience in learning management systems, human resource management systems and organisational management systems highly desirable
