Intensivist – Visiting Medical Officer | Coastal NSW
Are you ready to take on a rewarding role in a collaborative, forward-thinking ICU team? We are seeking a dedicated Intensivist (VMO) to provide comprehensive specialist care in a Level 5, 10-bed combined ICU/HDU.
The Role
As an integral member of the ICU team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary group of intensivists, junior doctors, and nursing staff
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring junior medical staff across the hospital
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and ongoing research within the unit
- Liaise closely with patients and families to ensure compassionate and patient-centred care

About You
- Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA
