AAP is a market leader in the distribution of high quality pipe fittings and valves, servicing both plumbing, irrigation, engineering, fire, mining and petro chemicals industries.

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Internal Sales / Customer Service person to commence in the new year.

This position requires an individual that appreciates the competitive nature of the industry, who has excellent organisation, time management , and communication skills and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Provide technical information to customers
- Assist with sales support tasks, including quoting and order tracking
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system
- Servicing customer inquiries by providing relevant information such as stock availability, order status, and delivery details as requested
- Review outstanding order reports,



ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered on time efficiently
- Advise customers of current products and alternative products
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure seamless customer service.

Desirable Criteria:

- Previous experience in a customer service or internal sales role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Consultative selling skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
