About the Role
Midwives will support women and families through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care across hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care

- Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing

- Support secure and informed birthing experiences





- Educate families on newborn care and recovery

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent

- AHPRA registration (or eligibility)

- English language proficiency

- Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience

- Willingness to relocate to Canberra for at least 3 years

What ACT Health Offers:

- Salary: $72,000–$87,000 AUD (based on experience)
