Locum Physiotherapist – 1 Hour from Cairns, QLD

Private Practice | Short-Term Contract

We are currently working with a well-established private practice located approximately one hour from Cairns that is seeking a Locum Physiotherapist to provide short-term cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist looking to step into a busy clinic, enjoy a supportive team workplace, and experience Far North Queensland while working.

About the Role

- Locum Physiotherapist position in a private practice setting
- Mixed musculoskeletal caseload
- Clinic-based role with structured handover
- Supportive and experienced team
- Flexible contract lengths (4 weeks – 3 months)

Key Responsibilities

- Musculoskeletal assessments and treatment
- Manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation
- Developing and progressing patient treatment plans
- Clinical documentation and reporting
- Liaising with other allied health professionals as required

What We’re Looking For





- Qualified Physiotherapist
- AHPRA registration (or in progress)
- Private practice or musculoskeletal experience preferred
- Solid communication and time-management skills
- Locum experience advantageous but not essential
