They must ensure adherence to company standards, applying valuable housekeeping practices, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency, ensuring goods are received, stored and issued to internal and external customers in a timely manner.nnMaterials Specialist must maintain inventory accuracy, both physically and in the warehouse management system (SAP) and provide support on planning and stock replenishment activities. This role ensures that all materials, including dangerous goods,



comply with regulatory and safety standards while supporting the operational needs of the organization.nnThis will be a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) role based out of Adelaide or Brisbane, on a 2:2 roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off), with crew change-over on Thursday cycle nnRoles and Responsibilites:nnInventory Managementnn * Perform Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, Picking, Packing, stock transfersn * Ensure proper wrapping, labelling and storage of materials to prevent damage or lossn * Use Forklift for Material handlingn * Prepare Sales Orders for load outs and backloads, conduct visual inspection of backloads, check for damages among backloaded items, organize its disposaln * Prepare outbound deliveries for load outs and inbound deliveries for new shipments receivedn * Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure all hazardous materials are properly documentedn * Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstockingn * Perform weekly cycle counts and periodic full counts: investigate variance and adjust the system as per approvalsn * Support Planning team to reduce excess inventory and manage obsolete materialsn * Perform 20 Keys audit and 5S Audit for warehouse for continuous improvementn * Ensure proper storage, packaging and transportation of dangerous goods, adhering to safety guidelinesn * Perform Goods reception using Blue MM phone,



maintain Mu0026S Stores containers and manage reservations nnnnQuality Assurancenn * Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications and standardsn * Work closely with Operations crew to address non-conformance issuesn * Document material quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, via Certificate of Analysis (COA)nnnnRegulatory Compliancenn * Stay updated on laws and regulations concerning the handling, transport and disposal of Dangerous Goods (DG) and non-DG materialsn * Ensure chemicals stored in the warehouse are in accordance with the Licensing document or the DG License and ensure storage is as per the Chemical Compatibility matrixnnnnData Management u0026 Reportingnn * Maintain accurate records of material transactions and inventory levels.n * Generate reports on material usage, costs and disposals for management reviewn * Use SAP/FLM/FDP/Ariba systems to track and manage material flow nnnnLogistics Coordinationnn * Oversee the transportation of domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standardsn * Record the final weights and dimensions of the cargo and plan the shipmentn * Coordinate with logistics providers for timely deliveryn * Address and resolve any shipping discrepancies or delays nnnnQualifications and Experience:nn * Full Australian working rights.n * Prior experience in materials/ inventory managementnnnnSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
