Established in 2016, Mecha provides engineered mechanical solutions to major industry including mining, marine and manufacturing. Our team of skilled tradespeople, engineers and experienced administrators strive to ensure the job is completed on time, at the highest quality and most importantly, safely.

We have a strong commitment to developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. We are accepting applications for our 2025 Apprenticeship Program in Gladstone, QLD.

We are currently recruiting for: (Local Candidates Only)

- 2 x Apprentice Mechanical Fitters (Machinist and Mechanical Fitter)

- 1 x Apprentice Boilermaker

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:





- Year 12 completion as of the 1st January, 2025 (with a minimum of a pass in English and Mathematics)

- Commitment to undertake 4-year apprenticeship program

- Strong mechanical attitude and a willingness to learn

- Valuable problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required

- A pre-employment medical pass
