Maxwell Recruitment currently has a great opportunity for a Trade Qualified Fitters for a workshop-based role in Lake Macquarie, this is a casual project with several future projects planned including a shutdown in January with 12 hour day and night shifts.

The work primarily involves underground mining rebuilds, working on a variety of development and longwall equipment, looking for an immediate start for trade-qualified fitters.

The Advantages:

- Excellent pay rates over $58/hr plus full penalties

Typical component rebuilds in the workshop include:

- Shuttle Cars

- Continuous Miners





- Feeder Breakers

- Multi Bolters

- Longwall

The Requirements:

- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters

- Experience in overhaul and assembly of heavy equipment is desirable

- Basic Hydraulics experience is desirable

- Safety-focused and having a strong work ethic and positive attitude
