About the Role: MSS Security is currently seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team at the Melbourne Market in Epping. This role is a night shift position and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.

As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the market, its premises, employees, and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the Melbourne Market premises.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies efficiently.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential incidents.
- Report security breaches, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Provide assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors when needed.




- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.

Skills & Experience:

- Full Australian Working Rights
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher)
- Valid Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement preferred but not essential)
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Full Drivers License
- Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts
