Position Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Support Worker
Role Purpose:
To provide person -centred care and support to clients, assisting them with daily living activities and helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed.
- Support clients with community access, appointments, and social activities.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns regarding client wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans, workplace policies, and health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (if required).
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
